Reflections on 2023

This January we’re marking a milestone at CTN. It’s twenty years since we moved into our building here in St Martin’s Lane – which is our home, headquarters and the location of our central London TV studio.

A lot has happened over these two decades! The style and manner of corporate communications has altered out of all recognition. But some things are enduring. The ability to share stories and communicate with clarity, concisely, is an essential skill and prerequisite. We call it Impact Communications and it’s what the team at CTN help our clients do every day.

In this short video, I look back on 2023 and some of the ground-breaking projects we’ve undertaken. We’re also excited about the year ahead, whatever it brings, and look forward to working with our wonderful clients.

CTN at DSEI 2023 – Airbus Space Manufacturing Exhibit

DSEI 2023 was the biggest ever with more than 1,500 exhibitors and CTN were back again helping clients achieve an impact at this key event.

We were delighted to work with long standing client Airbus Defence and Space in creating an innovative, interactive installation to showcase the scale and breadth of Airbus’s strategic footprint across the UK. The exhibit generated a huge amount of interest and told a powerful story.

Sally Pugmire said; ‘Our brief was to create an impactful live exhibit that encouraged interaction with the Airbus stand and illustrated their commitment to the UK manufacturing supply chain. The installation really worked in getting their message across to visitors and it was a real pleasure working with the Airbus team’.

CTN ready to exploit Free Trade Agreement with Australia and New Zealand

At midnight on 31 May, a new trade deal between the UK, Australia and New Zealand comes into force. The deal will open the way for new business opportunities and is set to create unprecedented access for services, including the creative sector. It will also make it easier for UK professionals to live and work in our respective countries.

CTN has established its first permanent overseas presence in Melbourne, Australia which is being led by Rebecca Denholm. Bilateral trade with Australia is expected to increase by 50%. CTN will be on the ground to support our UK and Australian clients with their communications strategies, campaigns and live events. We’ll also be providing media training and executive coaching for clients across the region supported by specialist coaches based in Australia.

Rebecca Denholm said; ‘It’s an exciting time for the UK/Australia relationship and CTN hopes to be in the right place, at the right time, to support our clients’.
